Thurstaston is a small village near to Irby and is in between the village of Caldy and the town of Heswall.
Locally well known for Thurstaston Hill, one of the highest points on Wirral, the village consists of a church (St Bartholomew’s) and a small number of private homes. Many of homes are within the Dawpool Farm conversion development. Thurstaston is also home to Church Farm, a 60-acre organic farm that is also popular as a tourist attraction throughout the year.
Dawpool School is located in School Lane which is on the edge of Thurstaston Hill on the Irby side.
The long, straight road that leads down to Wirral Country Park, Dee Sailing Club and the Wirral Way is Station Road.
